Lake Bell was born on March 24th, 1979 in New York City. ‘Raydoor’ is a company that manufactures sliding walls and doors, and her older brother Luke Bell Siegel manages it. Her parents are Robin Bell, owner of a design firm, and Harvey Siegel, a New York City real estate developer.

They were both located in Simsbury, Connecticut, and were both attended by her. When she was a teen, her family relocated to Vero Beach, Florida. The ‘Saint Edwards Institution,’ a college prep school in Vero Beach, was where she went to high school.

In Saratoga Springs, New York, she studied at “Skidmore College,” then transferred to “Rose Bruford College,” where she was introduced to the world of theatre. Aside from “The Seagull,” she starred in London theatre plays “The Children’s Hour,” “Six Degrees of Separation,” and “Light Shining in Buckinghamshire.” during her time there. In 2002, she earned a degree in acting from ‘Rose Bruford College,’ and relocated to Los Angeles.
