Simone was born in Columbus, Ohio on 14th March 1997 to Shanon Biles and Kelvin Clemons. Simone’s father was never involved in her life because he battled drugs and abandoned his family.

Shanon, Simone’s mother, was also a victim of drug and alcohol abuse. She also played a minor role in her children’s upbringing.

Simone Biles is the third of four siblings; Ashley, Tevin, and Adria are the others. Adria Biles is a gymnast as well. Simone was raised by Ron Biles and his wife Nellie Cayetano Biles.

Simone Biles’ career as a gymnast began when she attempted gymnastics for the first time at the age of six on a field trip with her daycare classmates. She made an impression on her instructors, who encouraged her to pursue gymnastics. She quickly enrolled in a training program at Bannon’s Gymnastix and began working with Aimee Boorman, her coach.

At the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Belgium, she won the Women’s All-Round Championship. She replicated this achievement by winning gold at the 2014 Gymnastics National Championships, despite missing many contests earlier in the year due to a shoulder issue.

At the 2014 World Artistry Gymnastics Championships in Nanning, China, she successfully defended her World Champion title.

Simone Biles announced her professional debut and signing with Octagon on July 29, 2015. She won her third all-around national championship, becoming only the second woman to accomplish this feat.

Simone Biles earned her first gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games on August 9 in the team event.

On 11 August, she won the all-around gold in the individual event. With a score of 15.966, she earned her second gold medal in the women’s vault. She also won gold in the floor event with the same score.

Additionally, she earned a bronze medal on the balance beam.
