Tracy Lynn Curry was born on June 10, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, and is an American actress. Curry began his musical career as a member of the Fila Fresh Crew, a hip-hop group that originated in Dallas, Texas when he was a teenager.

Curry was known by the alias Doc-T while he was a member of the organization.

When N.W.A and the Posse was published in 1987, Fila Fresh Crew had four songs on the album; the same four songs would eventually appear on the group’s second studio album, Tuffest Man Alive, which was released in 1988.

Despite the fact that the album would yield three singles, the band split not long after it was released.

By this time, Curry had relocated to Los Angeles and had made the acquaintance of members of the N.W.A. and Ruthless Records, among others.

Additionally, in addition to his solo career, he was a member of the Southern hip hop group Fila Fresh Crew and later cooperated with gangsta rap group N.W.A, for whom he co-wrote a number of their releases, as well as Eazy-solo E’s debut album, Eazy-Duz-It, among other projects.

Also, he collaborated with Dr. Dre on his solo debut album, co-writing it with him while Dre produced Curry’s solo debut album, which was published by Ruthless Records.

Along with Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, he was a founding member of Death Row Records, which was founded in 1992.

In late 1989, just a few months after the release of No One Can Do It Better, The D.O.C. was involved in a terrible car accident that resulted in the crushing of his larynx, which resulted in a permanent change to his voice.

His two subsequent albums, Helter Skelter in 1996 and Deuce in 2003, have been released since his accident in 1993.

As of 2009, it was stated that his voice had recovered to a 70 percent level; in 2015, he claimed that his voice had entirely recovered.
