To far, BioGenerator, the BioSTL investment arm, funded 25 million dollars in 81 St. Louis businesses that have raised 900 million dollars in follow-up funding. In its free BioGenerator Labs, more than 225 businesses work.
GlobalSTL, BioSTL’s international arm, has attracted 18 firms from abroad to establish its U.S. presence in St. Louis. And 337 entrepreneurs and minority entrepreneurs and potential founders have been taught by BioSTL’s STEM Entrepreneur Inclusion Initiative.
The donation from Rineys will help BioSTL to create and invest in new firms, to develop businesspeople and a more inclusive and fair start-up environment, to attract innovative companies and talent to St. Louis and to stimulate development in jobs.
This donation was made possible via the St. Louis Community Foundation through the Paula and Rodger Riney Charitable Fund.
