M K Stalin is a politician from India. M K Stalin was born in Chennai on March 1, 1953, and his real age is 68 years and 1 month.
Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin is M.K. Stalin’s full name. He graduated from Chennai’s prestigious Nandanam Arts College with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
He began his political career when he was just 14 years old. In 1973, he was elected to the general committee of the DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), a regional political party led by his father. During the Emergency of 1975-77, he was one of the people arrested. He was first elected as an MLA from Tamil Nadu’s Thousands Light Constituency in 1989, and he has since been re-elected four times.
In 2001, he was elected Mayor of Chennai for the second time, but the then-Chief Minister, J Jayalalitha, forbade him from holding two positions. He was a part of the famous midnight arrest for the alleged flyover scam, along with the Maran brothers and father.
During the 2009 general elections, he helped the DMK secure a majority of seats in Tamil Nadu. All political pundits and veterans in his own party, the DMK, have slammed his role in the party, claiming that he is following Nehru’s footsteps. Karunanidhi, on the other hand, has always maintained that he has progressed so far in his career because of his own merit.
He has also worked as an actor in addition to his political career. In 1988, he made his acting debut in the Tamil film Ore Ratham. He has also appeared in television series such as Kurinji Malar and Suriya.
