On March 2, 1962, Jon Bon Jovi was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. They are Carol and John Francis Bongiovi, Sr., and he was reared there with his siblings, including his younger brother.

Father and mother both worked in the hairdressing industry; his mother worked as a Playboy Bunny and then as a florist. In addition to his two brothers, he also has two nephews.

He went to St. Joseph High School in New Jersey for his secondary schooling. When he was younger, he had little interest in school and spent much of his teenage years fantasizing about being a renowned rock musician. As a child, he was introduced to his future wife in the recording studio managed by his cousin, Tony.

As time passed, he started playing and recording with a variety of bands, including keyboardist David Bryan and the likes of the rest of the band, the Lechers, the Wild Ones, and John Bongiovi and the Wild Ones. When he was done with high school, he became a janitor at an office building.

When Bon Jovi married his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in 1989, she became his wife. As a result of the band’s exhaustion during their 1990 tour in support of “New Jersey,” their original closeness weakened. Blaze of Glory’s soundtrack was also recorded by Jovi in the same year. Aldo Nova and Billy Falcon’s records were created by Jovi’s record company, ‘Jambco Records,’ in 1991.

That year, he replaced the longtime manager with “Bon Jovi Management,” which became the band’s official management agency. ‘Keep the Faith’ was the band’s first record together after they worked out their disagreements.
