In 1944, Danny DeVito was born in New Jersey, USA. He was the son of Julia and Daniel DeVito, and he was born on November 17, 1944.

His father was a small business owner who ran a dry cleaner and a luncheonette, while his mother was a housewife. It was Theresa Scialla, and it was Angela Lucia who was his two older sisters.

He went to a boarding school on his own and went to the ‘Oratory Preparatory School’ in Summit, New Jersey, where he learned how to read and write.
