Danielle Andrea Harris was born in Plainview, New York on June 1, 1977. Her mother was a single mother, Fran Harris. Soon, Fran relocated to Florida for employment with Danielle. Danielle was enrolled in a primary school there. With her younger sister, Ashley, she grew up. While in Florida, Danielle took part in and won a beauty contest.

She was awarded a 10-day tour of New York City, the city she was born in. Danielle was offered numerous modeling opportunities during her visit to New York but she refused them all since she didn’t want to leave Florida.

She auditioned for a significant part in the fourth film, Halloween 4: Michael Myers’ popular film franchise, following her early TV roles. In the movie, she took the character of ‘Jamie Lloyd.’ The 1988 picture was a great success in business and criticism. Over time, it became a classic of cults. Next year Danielle took up her role as ‘Jamie’ in ‘Halloween 5: Michael Myers’s Revenge.’

In 1985, when she was called for an audition for a role in the soap series “One Life to Live,” she earned her big break.
