Dennis and Penny DeVine gave birth to Adam Patrick DeVine on November 7, 1983, in Waterloo, Iowa. He grew up in the United States. He received his high school diploma from Millard South High School in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2002. Later, he went on to study at Orange Coast College.

In June 1995, when Adam was 11 years old, he was involved in a serious car accident on the highway.

In Omaha, he was struck by a 42-ton cement truck while riding his bicycle across the street. He skidded 500 feet under the rear wheels before coming to a stop. Given that his bike was on his right side, it was able to withstand the whole power of the crash, preventing him from being killed immediately.

He was brought to the hospital, where he was placed in a coma for several days. The patient underwent 26 procedures over the course of several years, and he was on the verge of having both his legs amputated at one point.

He waited patiently through all of the surgeries and various treatments, and he was ultimately able to walk away triumphantly.

He, on the other hand, cracked jokes in order to divert attention away from his scars. His realization came as a result of this: comedy had the capacity to not only entertain people, but it could also bring them together.

He starred as Andy in the ABC sitcom ‘Modern Family’, which aired on the network’s network in seasons 5, 6, and 7.  In the same year, he was cast in two major motion pictures.
